Mid-Year Celebration at Bicentennial Park: Bringing the Specific Care Community Together

On August 10, Specific Care staff and participants came together to celebrate the mid-year at Bicentennial Park. The sun was shining, making it a perfect winter day for our gathering.

We fired up the BBQ and enjoyed delicious food while getting to know one another. It was a wonderful opportunity for new participants to meet our staff and connect with other participants. Existing participants also had the chance to catch up and share stories.

Our day was filled with fun activities. We got creative with arts and crafts, painting our own keyrings to take home as a reminder of the day. There was also a round of Jenga, which brought lots of laughs and friendly competition.

Some of us took advantage of the beautiful walking paths in the park. We enjoyed a peaceful stroll down to the pond, taking in the scenery and fresh air.

The day was a great success. It allowed us to strengthen our community, build new friendships, and create lasting memories. Everyone left with a smile, looking forward to the next event.

At Specific Care, we value these moments of connection. They remind us of the importance of community and the joy of coming together. We’re grateful to all who joined us and made the day so special.

We can’t wait to see everyone again at our next gathering!
